Open to individuals and families (u12's to be accompanied). Free
Let’s map Skibbereen together through sketches, colour, notes, and memories. This interactive urban sketching event invites locals and visitors to create ‘skibbcards’ capturing the spirit of Skibbereen by sharing their favourite places, stories, and impressions of the town.
1st August:
2-4pm - Town Hall: Join the West Cork Sketch Club to sketch, colour and write around the town.
4-5 pm: Gather with us to pin our ‘skibbcards’ and assemble the map - slowly blooming with colour, sketches and written memories, revealing an alternative map of Skibbereen through the eyes and hearts of locals and visitors.
*Also, during the week, collect and create your own ‘skibbcard’ (Sketch stations located @ the festival office and the Library)
