Varo are Dublin-based singers and fiddle players Lucie Axconaga (FR) and Consuelo Nerea Breschi (IT) who perform Irish traditional songs and tunes, with arrangement influences from the Folk, Baroque and Classical traditions, weaving around melodies with harmonies, drones and countermelody.

Tonight they are joined by 2 incredible Irish artists who both appeared on Varo's 2025 collaborations album The World That I Knew...singer and fiddle player Inni-K and harpist Alannah Thornburgh.

Fohn is the solo moniker of Bristol-based musician and producer Tom Connolly. His pastoral music blends traditional Irish fiddle with field recordings, ambient electronics, and experimental soundscapes, to explore themes of displacement, family heritage and Irish folklore.

The Listening Project is a grassroots venture created by local residents Robin Foley and Brian Granaghan, born from a desire to bring vibrant evening cultural events to the community of Skibbereen, turning the town hall into a high-fidelity sanctuary for performers and audiences alike, the project centers on the philosophy of "active listening"—creating a dedicated space where the music is the focus. Spanning a diverse and genre-defying lineup, the series showcases exceptional talent across traditional Irish music, jazz, contemporary folk, classical, and experimental sounds. Join us for an atmospheric evening celebrating the vital spirit of live music in West Cork.
