About the facilitators:

Tailor Birds – Sophie Kinston: Australian born musician, Sophie Kinston, is a dream folk songwriter and storyteller. At the core of the music is Sophie’s 5-String electric violin. The music is inspired by the people I meet, the stories I hear, the hopes and dreams of us all. The music is experimental, but on the edge of mainstream, telling tales of love, loss, hopes, and dreams. Sophie is one of the few people in Cork working with Plant Wave music – music composed by plant sounds, converted using Plant Wave.

Jen Doran: Jen’s work is all about connection and reconnection to the body and to the natural world. Jen is trained in many styles of yoga and is a qualified and practicing herbalist in West Cork where she runs her practice and regular foraging & herbal medicine making related events. Coming from a lineage of herbalists, with her Dad being one and her great grandmother, it is Jen's passion to create sparks of remembrance and inspiration in people to return to creating relationship with the plants, trees and nature around and deepen their connection.
