Do you have a story that you wish to tell?
Is there a story yearning to be told?
Karen Minihan invites you to participate in a workshop to remember a moment or time which involved a woman and that was important. You will share the story with another person and, together, we will add to a tree of memories.
Karen Minihan is an established writer, theatre director, performer and actor. Her current body of work explores the stories of West Cork women from the founding of the state, which she calls Extraordinary, Ordinary Women. It includes two books of stories, a live performance, two short documentaries and also creative responses in the form of poetry and a short stage play. The Why Remember? workshop is linked to this body of work, though not directly part of it.
