Tarraingt / Green Rope is an outdoor performance installation by West Cork artist William Bock.
William is inviting the local community to help craft a giant rope by hand, made only from wild plants growing along the Ilen river.
Over two weeks and with the help of many hands, this giant rope will slowly extend from the marshes, over the Ilen River, through the O’Driscoll building and onto main Street.
Between July 23rd - August 3rd you are welcome to join William in a process of learning how to make rope and adding to this rope installation.
