Workshops Spoken Word

When

28/07/2022 14:00 - 15:30

Tickets

€10.00

Take a snapshot look at the styles and interests of contemporary Irish poets – hopefully you will meet new poets that will appeal to you!

Come along to this workshop where we will read samples of work from new poets. The selection for this workshop has been drawn from recently released collections.

In the second half of the workshop, we will take time to write and to respond to poems and poets of choice. We will explore how we can further our own personal connections to written word and what images, thoughts and memories poetry can evoke in our own lives.

This will be a gentle guided writing experience, suitable for people at all stages of writing.
All materials will be provided on the day.
