Part salon, part pub session, The Dinnseanchas Holy Show gathers artists and land-guardians for an evening of performance, film, music, conversation and conviviality. Expect folklore and ecology, lofty ideas and low chat, and a few fresh attempts at listening to what the land itself might be trying to say.
Host Brendan Macevilly’s guests will include a collaborative performance of poetry and live music by poet Grace Wells and musician Sean O’Dalaigh that weaves spoken word with atmospheric sound and musical elements and a live film narration by Heather Griffin and Patrick Mulvihill of "Showing Up", a sonic and visual landscape inviting audiences to witness the entangled futures of human and more-than-human worlds.
